It’s been a busy 2018 so far here at MetaCompliance, with the introduction of several fresh faces to the team. Due to continued growth, additional staff were required across the company in various departments to help achieve our goal in developing our worldwide sales and market presence.
In the space of three months we have grown substantially, hiring over 20 people. In the coming weeks we will be introducing you to the latest team members, so let’s get to know the latest Compliancers a little bit better.
Sean Rush
Sales Development Representative
Before Sean’s employment at MetaCompliance, he worked for McDonald’s part time whilst studying Business Economics at Queens University Belfast. “My time at McDonald’s enabled me to develop certain skills needed for my job role here at MetaCompliance, including communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving, and most important simplifying complex procedures so end users could understand.”
As a Sales Development Representative, Sean’s role involves booking appointments for leading organisations in their represented fields and having a clear understanding of cyber security and compliance, enabling him to effectively inform existing and potential clients of the benefits of our award-winning platform.
Sean is very active in his spare time. “Sport has always been important to me, I currently play for two local football teams at the weekend and go to the gym 5 times a week. I also have basic first aid training and have completed my bronze medallion.”
Kisha Gillespie
Sales Development Representative
Kisha graduated from Ulster University with an Associates Bachelor’s Degree in July 2017. Having previously worked for Cilento Designer Wear as a Sales Assistant, Kisha had dealt with customers one to one on a daily basis.
Kisha joins MetaCompliance as a Sales Development Representative, where she will be contacting different organisations asking about their cyber security awareness needs and implementation. “I then hope to lead into a demonstration of the services and products we offer with one of our cloud platform experts in the enterprise sales team.”
“I am slightly autistic which I struggled with for many years at school and at university, but this also helped me become more confident and develop my own way of social communication and understanding in a more creative outlook. I also play Cricket for Strabane Saints Ladies Team in my spare time.”
Joe Coyle
Business Development Executive
Joe has 8 years’ experience in Account Management and product training, in companies such as Windows and Microsoft Ireland bringing a wealth of experience to his new role at MetaCompliance. As a Business Development Executive, Joe will be demoing and selling our MetaCompliance Cloud Solution to a range of Irish and American customers within the Business Development team. Outside of work, Joe’s interests include football and kickboxing.
Jessica Higgins
Sales Development Representative
Jessica graduated from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, obtaining a 2.1 in International Business Management with Spanish. She lived in a village in the south of Spain for a year studying business at the Universidad de Cadiz – working in teams with different cultures on various business projects for the SMEs in that region. “Basically, it was a really long holiday!” Jessica’s previous roles were in retail and hospitality. “This is my first time working in B2B sales. I work as a Sales Development Representative, so I make initial contact with large organisations and pitch our products to book meetings for the Enterprise Sales Team. I’m loving the job so far, it’s challenging yet very rewarding. Perseverance and positive mental attitude is definitely needed!” Jessica will see a shift in her job role come April, where she will be moving to deal with inbound sales, meaning she will be the main point of contact with companies who contact MetaCompliance through our website.
Bernard Ward
Marketing Project Manager
Bernard is a father of two from Derry. He attended university in Jordanstown to do a degree in Multimedia Computing and Design. His work experience is a mixed bag ranging from retail to call centre management then accidentally falling in love with marketing when he set up his own photography business in 2013. In his previous role Bernard looked after the marketing team and was hands on with all aspects marketing. Bernard has a passion for photography and his biggest achievement to date is winning 1st place in the National Awards for the best photograph taken by an Irish Photographer at the 2017 Sony World Photography Awards. Bernard was also a finalist for best use of digital and social media in his previous role at the North west business awards.
Michael Muir
Sales Development Representative
Michael has a bachelor’s Degree in Design and Communication from Ulster University, Magee. He has a strong sales background including, but not limited to: 3 years car sales with Donnelly Group, 3 years high-end furniture sales, and Business to Business Sales with Airtricity. Michael’s hobbies include photography, painting, days away and cars.
